Dust Monitoring
Dust monitoring is commonly carried out in accordance with German Standard VDI 2119. Bergerhoff dust gauges are typically installed for a period of 30 days to collect airborne dust fall at specified locations.
The dust gauges are then collected and analysed in a lab, using techniques based on evaporation and gravimetry. A final result is calculated in mg/m²/day and compared to the specified limit value. Typical guideline limit values for dust fall are 350 mg/m²/day.
Aeon Environmental can carry out dust monitoring for a range of projects & facilities and assess compliance with prescribed limits. Where required, we can incorporate dust monitoring into a wider, long term monitoring programme; including noise, vibration and water monitoring.
